I had a nightmare that 3 plumbers could not figure out how to solve. I called Mold Mentor on a different issues and Zach came out, was drawn to the nightmare and helped me solve it. He guided me through working with the roofers, insurance adjusters, and necessary purchases.When it was time to start the work, he and his crew were prompt, courteous and efficient. Their customer service is beyond compare. They are effective communicators and follow through when they say they will. They stuck by me and helped me for 3 months as this problem was resolved. Only use this company if you think you have mold. The mold business is a tricky one (easy to fall victim to scams lots of dishonest companies) the owner of this company came to our house and actually walked through with us step by step how to save money, how to protect ourselves from mold companies trying to take advantage of us. Thanks for your honesty Zach! He ended up not charging us a dime and showed us how to do our own independent testing instead so we can have peace of mind that there is an issue before we spend thousands trying to fight an invisible spore.

Zach came out to look at our home for mold today. He was the only one that didn't talk about inspection fees and sample fees right off the bat and I was drawn to his website's "about section" about wanting to do honest work. When he came, he said he'd love to sell me a job, but that we had very minor issues that could be solved in other ways. He explained things very well, gave me an action plan, was very responsive to questions, and I now feel confident that I can do what's needed to keep our house safe from mold, but also know I can call him again and trust he'll do a good and honest job for us. His assistant was also very professional and responsive via text, which I appreciate. Would highly recommend.

After being stood up by The Attic Doctor (I still haven't heard back from them after they were a no show to an appointment) I contacted Zach. My clients used Mold Mentor to evaluate a property a client of mine was looking to purchase. Zach arrived right on time, and both his knowledge of the issue as well as his personality put my clients at ease right away. Excellent company with a true passion for assisting its customers.

We needed a mold inspection asap. We called Zach on short notice and promptly answered his phone. He was honest and told us he would try to get us in that day. To fortune, he was able to make it to our home that day. He was prompt, kind, honest, and respectful of the home. Zach examined ever area of our home from the basement to the attic. He used some of the latest techniques and technology to see into our walls for moisture, or any gaps and seams that may allow moisture into the home. He also used air sensors to detect any airborne mold spores.
Zach explained how all of these procedures worked, what mold needs to grow and explained how to interpret the lab report, how long it usually takes get the report back (about a day or two�took us a day).
When we received our report we did have mold in one area of our home. Zach then explained how the removal process worked, recommended services that would work best for our situation and sent us a letter head to send to our builder�it was a builder caused issue. He made himself available for every step in this process.
I would definitely recommend this service. Zach truly shows that he cares about the health of others and his job.
